We are a church that believes in the power of prayer. Through prayer, we do ministry. Our desire is to reach people with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
When Jesus met the woman at the well. She was searching but she didn't know what she was searching for. The light of Christ came into her life and she knew she had met the Messiah. She was excited and went to tell others about what she had experienced.
Jesus answered and said to her, "Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again; but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.” John 4:13-14
Sundays:
On Sundays we have two areas of service for our Children's Ministry. We have Sunday School classes for all age groups and then during our Worship Service we have Children's Church specifically for children in the First through Fifth grades.
Wednesdays:
During the school year, beginning at 6:20 we have AWANA for our Children's Ministry. Jerry Granger is our AWANA Commander. Jerry is energetic and committed to this ministry. If you'd like to get involved please reach out to the AWANA Commander, Jerry Granger.
We are dedicated to seeing our youth be saved and discipled along with teaching them to spread the good news of Christ. We focus on issues that our youth are facing and teach them how to find practical, biblical solutions to these issues. This Ministry is led by Pastor Jordan Harmon, if you have any questions or would like to get involved please feel free to reach out to him!
Our Adult Ministry is a discipleship and prayer focused ministry led by Pastors Jeff Giddens and Ronnie Warren. On Wednesdays beginning at 7:00 P.M. we have Adult Bible Study and Prayer. We have many small groups dedicated to reading through God's Word together, also known as D-Life Groups. D-Life is a fantastic way to be a part of something smaller here at FBC Eagle Lake. If you're interested please reach out to either Pastor Jeff Giddens or Pastor Ronnie Warren!
Hands and Feet of Christ, also known as HFC, is a ministry created with the intent of reaching out to the community around us. On Mondays our HFC volunteers gather together and pack sandwiches to give out to needy families and the homeless. We do however give out more than food, we give out personal hygiene items and most importantly the Gospel of Jesus Christ! If you are interested in getting involved with HFC please reach out to Betty Horner. Donations are always needed!!
